Default Swim lap watch?

I was looking for an inexpensive lap watch with on-board accelerometer. Although Timex advertises lap watches, they are manual (push a button for each lap) making little practical swim sense. These watches are in the $45 range. I'm finding a 'real' lap watch but the pricing is north of $70.

Anyone know of a reasonably priced model?

OTOH, I've seen lap meters that fit on your finger for ~$30 (?). At worst I could get one of those + a $15 waterproof Timex just for time but would rather have all in one.

90000 SportCount Chrono 100 - Lap Counters

Best finger lap counter, will count laps and record individual lap times.

But no, I don't know of an all-in-one for a reasonable price, gotta pay for the technology!
