Tried this with some of my highschool aged swimmers. I think it got the point across, but they REALLY had trouble anchoring their elbows in place. I think with a little more practice, they can nail it down though.

Try mixing it in after you do a sculling drill. Make sure they lead the scull with their two middle fingers (ring and middle)...
